PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that they will encounter single lane restrictions on a section of Route 119 where it crosses over Jacobs Creek,
Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad, and the Coal & Coke Trail between East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County and Upper Tyrone Township, Fayette County.
Starting on April 18, traffic will restricted to a single lane in each direction through the completion of the project.

This project is for the replacement of the bridge that carries Route 119 over Jacobs Creek. The contractor on this $16.5 million project is Swank Associated Companies.
The tentative completion date for this project is August 2013.
